Welcome to Foyle Health @ Work

Derry Healthy Cities are the first voluntary-charitable organisation in Northern Ireland to introduce a project specifically targeted at workplace health.

Through funding from the Big Lottery and the Western Health and Social Services, the Foyle Health @ Work initiative aims at encouraging employers in the areas of Strabane, Derry/Londonderry and Limavady to foster positive attitudes to the holistic health of their employees and not just their physical health and safety.

Foyle Health @ Work Objectives

1. Develop employees awareness of CHD, Stroke and Cancer.
2. Encourage employers to foster a positive attitude to health in the workplace.
3. Establish a support service for workplace health.
4. Provide practical programmes to address specific needs.
5. Promote healthier lifestyles.
6. Offer the opportunity for self-development.
